The core reason for this insane amount of attraction and love this place receives is still unknown. But when it comes to mountains who needs a reason, the heart just wants to go!

1. Chandrakhani Pass:

Seated at an altitude of 3,650 meters, this pass resides in the Kullu region of Himachal. The starting point is the Naggar town of Manali, this pass does act as a bridge between Kullu and Parvati Valley.

Summer is the best season to hit the trail of Chandrakhani Pass as the views never leave a chance to please you. It's a 360-degree view of varied scenic views of the Himalayan Range. It has a splendid Bara Bangal range towards the west, Pin Panjal in the north, and Parvati towards the east. It also gives a glimpse of other snow-clad peaks like the peak of ‘Deo Tibba’.

2. Bhrigu Lake:

Bhrigu Lake is a high-altitude alpine lake near Manali in Himachal Pradesh. The journey starts from Gulaba Barrier, and it is an 11 km trek that can be easily completed in course of 3 days. Isn't it crazy that in just 2 days the trek makes you reach a height of 14,000 ft.?

The top view of Bhrigu Lake is, of course, the main calling attraction of this trek but one often forgets to talk about the amazing backdrop of the Himalayan Range that Bhrigu Lake has.

A very nice glimpse of Indrasen, and Deon Tibba and if the sky is clear then you also get to see the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges too.

3. Beas Kund:

A trek that takes you to the source of the Beas River!

The roots of this river crawl up at an altitude of 3,700 meters where Beas Kund exists.


The entire trail of this trek is compactly decorated with deodar trees that create a dense forest for you to trek through, explore, and live the experience. The forest later opens you up to the picturesque lake with a backdrop of a beautiful, eye-catching mountain view of Pir Panjal peaks.

The crystal clear water and its color tone add up to the charm!

The summit also blesses you with a glimpse of the big mountains of Manali like Friendship Peak, Shitidhar, Ladakhi, and Hanuman Tibba.

4. Rani Sui Lake:

One more addition to Manali's large collection of high-altitude lakes is the stunning 'Rani Sui Lake'.

The final push towards this lake takes you to a height of 11,000 ft. The trail of this trek gently escalates through the Manaslu Valley with the Manaslu river by the side. The blooming flowers add a vibrant splash of colors to the lush green meadows.

Later the trek opens up beneath the ridge of Khanpari Tibba which gives you a glance at the Indrasan and Deo Tibba peaks. This dome of Khanpari gives a 360-degree view of the Great Himalayan Range to the East, Dhauladhar to the West, and Pir Panjal to the North.

5. Hampta Pass:

Hampta Pass trek falls in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. This trek gains you a height of 14,000 ft. Its 25 km trail has a great adventure to offer you in the 5 days of the trek. This trek is a bit challenging and requires the trekker to be physically fit.


It welcomes you with River Hampta and numerous surprising waterfalls on its way and if it's summer then you may also find the trail crowded with shepherds too.

The mountains become your shield, as you camp at the foot of them.
